Protection advice across Kent
Protect the life you are building.
We compare life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection from a panel of eight providers to find cover that suits your needs and budget. We explain our recommendation and handle your application, helping you protect your income, your home and the people who depend on you.

A useful protection conversation starts with what matters to you.
How we work ↗Plan around real life
Cover should make sense for your household.
The right protection depends on who relies on your income, what cover you already have and the commitments you would need to meet if circumstances changed. Your cover should reflect your own circumstances and priorities.
We will help you understand the purpose of each option, the level of cover, the cost and the important policy terms before you decide.
Types of protection
Different cover for different risks.
These policies do different jobs. We can help you decide which, if any, fit your needs and budget.
Life insurance
Can provide a lump sum or regular payments if you die while the policy is in force. It may help those who depend on you meet a mortgage or other living costs.
Critical illness cover
Can pay a lump sum if you are diagnosed with a condition covered by the policy and meet its definition. Covered conditions and exclusions differ between insurers.
Income protection
Can replace part of your income if illness or injury prevents you from working, usually after an agreed waiting period and subject to the policy terms.
Buildings & contents
Buildings cover protects the structure of your home; contents cover protects belongings. Mortgage lenders usually require buildings cover, while contents cover is optional.
Our protection panel
Eight providers. Cover chosen around you.
We compare protection from eight providers to recommend cover that suits your needs and budget. Each has different policy features, ways of assessing applications and additional support services. Good to know
Questions people often ask.
Is life insurance required for a mortgage?
Life insurance is not generally a legal requirement for a mortgage. Many people choose it to protect those who depend on them. A lender will usually require buildings insurance.
Do all policies pay out in the same way?
No. The event covered, the amount and timing of a payment, and any exclusions are set out in each policy. We will explain those points before you apply.
